Username and Passwords
Everyone that is working in the Social Media Department will be given a username and password to access what they need to access. Passwords will be changed periodically throughout the year.Typically the password will be changed 4 times per year. When the password is changed, the Vice President of Social Media Operations will let everyone know that the password has been changed.
General Posting
How often you post depends on field of Social Media you have.
1. Facebook posting should occur 3 to 4 times a day, EX 9am, 12pm, 6pm and 10pm. We have found that our posts are most effective between 12pm and 6pm. During the winter, 2 post should be made per day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.
2. Twitter posts(tweets) should be made once a day.

1.Pictures you post MUST be either photos you have either physically taken yourself or photos from Jake's Flickr page.
2. Follow all rules in the CPARC handbook
3. Rumors/ Speculation can be posted as long as its backed up by another source: EX. Sandusky Regester, CP Rundown, CP Fansite, COASTER-net. ECT. If any dubt, plese see the Social Meida Director or the CEO of CPARC. ( Effective 12/7/2016)
4. When making a post, do not put your name down for any reason! EX. "Cedar Point is amazing. - Jake Hamons''. The reason is we do this is because you are a staff member of CPARC and you are representing CPARC. Your name is also listed on the staff page. ( The staff page is currently under construction.)
5. Sharing and Re-Tweeting is permitted. Actually if using anyone else's photos i perfer you ''share'' the post/tweet.
6. Posts should be made according to our Marketing Plan that is made for each year. Exceptions could be made as needed.
Note: The technique of posting things on social media is pretty self-explanatory, but please do not hesitate to contact Jake or the VP Of Social Media if you should ever need any assistance. Good luck and have fun! Examples used here are just examples.
